It is with high hopes and loads of enthusiasm that we launch into a new school year.  All ITV students are expected to acquire and demonstrate a fundamental mastery of FCPX, the professional editing software application from Apple.

The following video is an example of FCP PROJECT 1 posted as a reference for students.  Feel free to watch as many times as needed.

We recently reviewed the Project Library in FCPX.  Understanding this aspect of FCPX is essential in an editing environment where multiple editors work at the same editing stations.  The performance booster reviewing this lesson asks about what information I recommend including in every project. 

For our scenario, please include the following information in every PROJECT NAME:

1. Air-Date (00-00-00)
2. Project Description (CE, Top Story, Prim. Anch, Student Poll)
3. Anchor Name(s) (Spelling matters)
