New Class Website!
In an effort to simplify the online aspect of my class, I've consolidated all previous links into ONE CENTRAL GOOGLE SITE. From here students can access class notes, script templates, and any other web-resource they might need for ITV.
The address is http://tinyurl.com/itvhome
Visit the site on your mobile device by scanning the qr code below. Consider bookmarking the site for quick access later.

Article Structure Foldable
Greetings,
A recent lesson dealt with the traditional "inverted pyramid" journalistic writing style. We did a foldable in class as a way to graphically organize the critical information from this lesson.
Here is an example foldable I did for the class.
We also referenced http://youtu.be/F0XCHmVIQvs regarding basic foldable instructuctions.

Quiz 1 and Essay Question
My even classes took their first quiz of the academic year today and the odd classes will be taking them tomorrow.
This year, I'm including an essay question with each quiz to support the various writing initiatives and expectations going on here at CLMS/STEAM/CASE.
You can find all class notes and most assignments by accessing the SHARED FOLDER I run through MyPolkApps. This includes the essay question. Students have the option of completing it at home and submitting it via digital or handwritten means (see assignment details).
