Adding Music to FCPX

This lesson picks up where the Downloading Music from Freeplaymusic.com lesson leaves off.  Adding music to a video project can help to communicate the desired tone, create the intended mood, and raise the video project's entertainment value.

Downloading Music

Hello,

We frequently use music to help communicate specific moods and feelings in our video projects.  This post deals with a specific website which provides music for educational use.  This link opens a video tutorial

Sharing from MyPolkApps

Here are some quick instructions for sharing docs using MyPolkApps.   This is a great resource available to all CLMS/CASE students.  It allows for easy document creation, management, and collaboration.  All ITV anchors are encouraged to use MyPolkApps to write, share, and review scripts.

Quiz 1 and Essay Question

My even classes took their first quiz of the academic year today and the odd classes will be taking them tomorrow.

This year, I'm including an essay question with each quiz to support the various writing initiatives and expectations going on here at CLMS/STEAM/CASE.

You can find all class notes and most assignments by accessing the SHARED FOLDER I run through MyPolkApps.  This includes the essay question.  Students have the option of completing it at home and submitting it via digital or handwritten means (see assignment details).

CLASS NOTES

Greetings!

Now that we're in the groove of the 2012-2013 academic year, several students have expressed an interest in accessing the notes from class.  All of my notes this year will be presented through a shared folder on my MyPolkApps account (click HERE for more info on this great service available to ALL Polk county students).

The same link will be available all year.  The same link will be consistently updated as notes are presented in class.

WELCOME!

PROCEDURES

We will be reviewing class procedures this week and begin technical instructional next week. This class is VERY challenging and my expectations are VERY high. That might sound intimidating, but we will work together to accomplish much this year. I look forward to helping all students reach high levels of academic achievement this year!

Google Documents

ALL NOTES AVAILABLE ONLINE

This year, all notes will be available through Google docs. Here is the link:https://docs.google.com/folder/d/0B6ydDgttCew0LUkzTnN3THdtVXc/edit

The same link will be good ALL YEAR. I recommend that you BOOKMARK the page, as the URL is a bit long and complicated. The link can be used when students are absent, to look ahead, or to print notes that may have been missed in class.
